The HGe 4/4 II is a narrow-gauge electric locomotive for rack and pinion operation. A first series of 5 locomotives was purchased from 1985 by the Furka-Oberalp Railway and the SBB for the Brünig narrow-gauge railway. With an output of 1,932 kW, or around 2,600 hp, and a top speed of 100 km/h or 40 km/h on rack railway lines
